A bit about us: Yonder Floral and Decor House is a full scale design collective located in Arvada, Colorado. A quirky design house curating thoughtful events, impactful installations, and colorful content. Our niche is designing the natural and organic through an unexpected artistic lens - drawing inspiration through a variety of mediums including fashion, interiors, and film. We are builders, makers, movers and shakers, and are always up for a design challenge or a kooky concept. We specialize in a wholistic, cohesive vision that tells a unique story through floral, furniture, and custom decor. Our team continues to push past the conventional - utilizing unexpected techniques, color palettes, and combinations. Yonder House highly values creativity, innovation, and personal connection when designing for our clients. We believe in love in all its many forms and celebrations as an extension of that love.
A bit about the position: This role would be participating in event decor set up around Colorado and the surrounding states. You could be traveling anywhere from Denver to Jackson Hole to Moab to Telluride. Setting up an event takes patience and attention to detail. Our rentals are used many times throughout the season so we want them to last. The care that you give to these items is crucial. Tasks throughout each event week can include preparing an order in the warehouse, loading our trucks properly, traveling to events, unloading trucks at events, setting up our inventory in client’s desired location and style, striking the event (either late at night or early the next day), driving the inventory back to the warehouse, unloading the trucks, and cleaning and restocking the inventory in the warehouse. A bit about you: You understand that when you are in the service industry, the position is NOT about how to make things easy for your own process, but how to make the process easier for the client. You like either being in the mountains or in the heart of Denver. Getting good feedback is appealing to you. You know what motivates you and you seek it out. When you are on the clock you are always seeking the next task to accomplish. You stand to be a team player and willing to stand by out Yonder Team Values (see above).
Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds.
Must be willing to travel. A good driving record is a plus.
Must be available 2 weekends a month from June to October. Other weekday hours may be available throughout the season.
Pay is $15-18 for warehouse help and event crew.
